I've always preferred soul soil and dried kelp smoking over fire projectiles (controversial, I know, I know). I dislike the lack of that smokey and earthy flavor (well in the former). I also disagree with your take in the Soul Sand vs Soul Soil methods. The more compacted texture keeps out the grainy souls of the damned while still keeping that chared flavor. All in all, very helpful and informative video! I wish I had this when I was more of a beginner chef 😌🤌
